Hand and Wrist Treatment
The Orthopedic Institute incorporates a multidisciplinary team to provide leading-edge treatments utilizing new and minimally invasive approaches for multiple hand disorders:
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Tennis elbow
- Wrist pain
- Sports injuries of the hand and wrist
- Fractures of the hand, wrist, and forearm
- Trigger finger
- Other disorders include; arthritis, nerve and tendon injuries, and congenital limb differences (birth defects).
Hand surgeons often refer patients to see one of the many Palomar Health Certified Hand Therapists (CHT). All CHTs have received advanced training to provide splints and therapies to help restore function and improve quality of life for individuals with hand or arm disease or injury.
At Palomar Health Rehabilitation Services, our CHTs work with physicians and patients to provide a continuum of care. This often starts within days of the injury or surgery, and extends through the patient's return to work and/or a productive lifestyle.
We are committed to providing ideal patient care, and it shows in the outcomes our patients enjoy.
