About the Palomar Medical Center project
A pilot project for the Green Guide for Health Care (GGHC), Palomar Health decided early on to embrace sustainability. The approach is holistic, from the siting to maximize daylight to the “vertical gardens” and 1.5 acre green roof and public terrace. These features will help reduce utility consumption by 25%, but also offer access to daylight and nature to promote healing. Learn more about Palomar’s solutions and discover why Palomar Health has won the Practice Greenhealth “Partner for Change Award” for three consecutive years and how the new Palomar Medical Center has been at the forefront of next generation thinking.
