Blood Pressure Affected by Work, Home
Your boss can raise your blood pressure -- and so can your spouse, researchers say. A British study found that women had higher blood pressure when working for a supervisor who was considered unfair than when they worked for a more favored supervisor. A U.S. study found that husbands and wives had higher blood pressure when they were in a marital spat. Those with the highest blood pressure were men and women who were trying to change their spouses in some way.
