Cardiac Education Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday with your choice of the following times: 9:00 - 9:30, 11:30-12:00, 3:00-3:30.

These classes are held in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Palomar Medical Center. All classes are free and no appointment is necessary
Mended Hearts Program
Palomar Health has joined efforts with Mended Hearts - a nonprofit organization affiliated with the American Heart Association - to develop a local chapter for heart disease patients, their families and caregivers in San Diego's Inland North County and South Riverside County. The new chapter offers services to heart patients through support group meetings, patient visitor programs and educational forums.
Mended Hearts serves heart patients and others impacted by heart disease and allows its members to draw on personal experience to help others. Mended Hearts support groups help people understand that there can be a rich, rewarding life after heart disease. Members listen to one another, share their experiences, and gain strength from the common bond.
Through its patient visitor program, members volunteer to talk to other heart patients about what to expect - from depression and lifestyle changes, to recovery and treatment options. Healthcare professionals at Palomar Health supplement these conversations with formal educational forums.
Meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month in the Educational Classroom at Palomar Medical Center.
