At Palomar Health, we respect your time and appreciate the generosity of our entire family of volunteers. Palomar Health volunteers provide support, encouragement and a fresh perspective to patients and the hospital. In return, volunteers become part of our family, and they join the team of physicians, nurses, staff members and others who make our patients feel at home.
Palomar Health works closely with each new volunteer to find an assignment that matches his or her interests, skills and motivation.

Locations to Volunteer:
Requirements for becoming a Volunteer:

Interview with a Volunteer Coordinator, complete application/paperwork
-
Pay $50 processing fee, which is refunded after one year upon completion of 100 hours of service

Annual TB test
-
Background check
-
Hospital and Volunteer orientation

Service training in respective department
