Frequently Asked Questions
When do you see our outpatient surgery moving to the Pomerado Outpatient Pavilion (POP)?
It could be several more years away, if at all. It will cost an estimated $10 to $15M to outfit the POP space for outpatient surgery.
Update on Pomerado construction – on hold?
At best, we are 4 to 5 years away from building the tower at Pomerado. We recently finished the power plant and the piping/utilities around the campus. In preparation for future buildings, we are looking at ways to add additional ICU and Med/Surg beds without the need for the tower in the short term.
What is the timeline for improving the back entrance and pedestrian access from the parking garage at Pomerado?
We are in the process of determining how to proceed with the connector bridge. Once we decide whether to proceed with the bridge at this time then we will put into place temporary measures to address the traffic and pedestrian access in the area.
