Alan Conrad, M.D.

Alan Conrad, M.D.

Dr. Alan Conrad attended medical school at New York Medical College and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UC San Diego. He has been practicing primary care Internal Medicine in Poway since 1987 and has been actively involved in Medical Staff affairs at Pomerado Hospital in Poway since 1988. In that time, he has served as Chief of Staff at Pomerado Hospital for two separate terms. Dr. Conrad currently serves as Director of the Primary Care Division at Pomerado Hospital and serves on its Medical Executive Committee. For the Palomar Health system he serves as chairperson of the Physicians Capital Advisory Committee. As Medical Director of the Palomar Health Diabetes Services program, he is looking forward to participating in the formation of a comprehensive diabetes program at Palomar Health.

Irma Moore, RN, MS, CNS, NP

Irma Moore, RN, MS, CNS, NP

Irma Moore received her Master of Science degree from San Diego State University with a concentration in Advanced Practice Nursing of Adults and Elderly (Dual Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist Preparation). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and is bilingual in Spanish and English. Most of Irma’s eleven years of nursing experience has been spent as a Medical/Surgical nurse, in nursing education, and as a Medical/Surgical Clinical Nurse Specialist. Irma joined Palomar Health Diabetes Services in February, 2008. She is currently assigned to critical care and medical/surgical services at Palomar Medical Center.

Leslie Steine, MS, RD

Clinical Dietician
 

Registered Dietitian Leslie Steine obtained a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis. She has taught nutrition and exercise classes for community colleges and has worked as a bilingual counselor for the Women, Infant and Children nutrition program. Leslie also is a certified lactation educator and promotes breastfeeding for optimal health outcomes later in life.

Doris Meehan, RN-BC, MSN, ACNS

Doris earned her BSN in 1989 from Molloy College in Rockville Center, New York. Doris relocated to San Diego in 1995. She has spent the past 20 years as a RN in the acute care hospital setting. In addition, she has held positions as the Student Success Advisor for the Palomar College RN ADN Nursing Program focusing on student development and retention, as well as a nursing Clinical Instructor for Palomar, MiraCosta & Maric College RN and LVN programs and taught the Basic Medical Terminology course at MiraCosta College.

Doris graduated with her MSN with an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist certificate from the University of San Diego (USD) in May, 2009. Doris is NIH stroke certified and ANCC certified in Medical-Surgical Nursing. She is a also member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Professional associations include; National & CA Clinical Nurse Specialists, American Society of Pain Management Nursing & the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN). Presently, she is the Co-President of the San Diego AMSN chapter and a member of the San Diego Health Literacy Taskforce.
