Palomar Health Development, Inc.
Palomar Health Development, Inc., formerly known as Palomar Pomerado North County Health Development, Inc. ("Health Development") works together with the entire Palomar Health district in order to further develop key initiatives that will benefit staff, patients and the North County community as a whole. In October 2007, the Research Institute, led by Dr. Richard Just, began accepting its first applications for research. The Institute will put Palomar Health on the regional and national radar by working with world-class researchers to bring the latest innovative techniques and medicines to patients in the safest and quickest manner possible. Collaborating with the Clinical Investigation Institute at the University of California San Diego and other academic research partners, the Research Institute will have access to significant government studies. From programs in the classroom to plans for the new Palomar Medical Center going ‘green’, Health Development is making a difference today to bring the Hospital of the Future into the present.
