Ann Braun

Executive Director and Chief Development Officer

Ann Braun, who has been responsible for raising $500 million over the past decade in support of medical education, research and hospital facilities, joins the Palomar Pomerado Health Foundation as Executive Director and Chief Development Officer after recently serving as the Senior Associate Dean of Development and Alumni Relations at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). There, Ann led the fundraising effort increasing private giving by 100 percent raising more than $100 million in 2011. Prior to her position at the Keck School of Medicine, Ann was Associate Dean of Development and Alumni Affairs at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Her extensive background includes positions as Major Gifts Officer at the University of Michigan Medical School, and at Berkshire Hathaway’s World Book Educational Products Company, where she managed the Michigan and Ohio sales divisions. She and her husband Al, have two boys, Anson, 13 and Archer, 14.
