Bruce Krider

Bruce. Krider has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Elmira College and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from The George Washington University, in Washington, DC.  For the past 30 years, he has served as a consultant in hospital accreditation for a Chicago-based hospital accreditation organization which surveys hospitals and other healthcare providers for participation in Medicare.

He has founded several healthcare companies including Cardiff Associates, Inc., (La Jolla), CyberMed International, Inc., (Escondido), Advanced Healthcare Systems, Inc. (Shanghai, China) and American Health Care Appraisal LLC (San Marcos). 

He has taught both graduate and undergraduate healthcare courses at several local universities. He also served as an adjunct faculty member with the Chinese European International Business School in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, the 25th ranked business school in the world. While in China, he gave many presentations to many public health agencies and hospitals regarding western healthcare administration.

Bruce served as a hospital administrator at three hospitals in Michigan. He was very active in working with the Michigan Hospital Association in testifying before the state legislature. Nationally, he worked directly with congressional leaders and the Reagan White House in changing the government’s hospital payment policies for rural referral hospitals (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985).

He currently resides in San Marcos with his wife Laura Dolata, a nurse practitioner at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in La Jolla.
