Palomar Health Provides Comprehensive Access for all Health Needs

At Palomar Health, our healthcare professionals are available for any of your health concerns, from surgery to emergency needs. Our team of board-certified physicians and specially trained staff are readily available if you have health problems that arise unexpectedly. For life-threatening issues such as chest pain or head injuries, our emergency rooms at Palomar Medical Center Escondido and Palomar Medical Center Poway are ready to help 24/7.

In case of an emergency, always dial 911. For conditions that need medical attention but are not life-threatening, health clinics provide quality health care, many with same day appointments or walk-in care for quick and convenient treatment. Understanding how to access the complete range of Palomar Health’s clinical services or urgent care services provided at local health clinics will help our patients get the appropriate care they need, when they need it and at the most convenient location.

Access to Walk-In Health Centers for Minor Illnesses and Injuries

When you live in San Diego County and need to see a doctor right away but don’t require emergency care, where do you go? At conveniently located Palomar Health Expresscare locations, you’ll likely get quicker access to high-quality medical care on a first-come, first-serve basis rather than waiting in an emergency room where patient care must be triaged or prioritized based on health issues that need the most immediate attention.

These walk-in health centers are located within select Albertsons/Sav-on Pharmacy stores in San Diego County. Expresscare Clinics are perfect for minor conditions or busy families to receive prompt, patient-centered care without the longer wait at an emergency room – or the higher costs generally associated with emergency care.

Open seven days per week with extended weekday hours, appointments are not necessary and walk-ins are welcome. Most visits usually take about 20 minutes. Our dedicated staff can also provide pagers for patients who would like to shop in Albertson’s/Sav-On Pharmacies if a short wait is required.
