Palomar Health Wound Care Centers

Palomar Health Wound Care Centers consist of two outpatient wound clinics in San Diego County – one in the Pomerado Outpatient Pavilion in Poway and one in Palomar Health San Marcos  - dedicated to the care of patients with chronic, non-healing wounds and conditions receptive to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

We utilize a comprehensive wound management approach for wound healing.

Our physician driven, multidisciplinary based wound care program provides a structured patient assessment process with a complete assessment of local and systemic factors affecting wound healing. This assessment is designed to address the specific pathophysiology of wound healing failure and to develop a patient and wound specific plan of management and care from evidence and best practice based Clinical Practice Guidelines.

We are here to provide education and support for families, patients and individuals responsible for the patient’s care across all settings. Our wound care approach is comprehensive, innovative, compassionate, cost-effective and focused on continual improvement.

Our Mission is to provide an environment conducive to the diagnosis and management of chronic wounds and conditions.

The wound care center provides elective, non-emergent services. Please call one of our wound care centers if you have questions about wound care or if you would like to schedule an appointment.
