Palomar Health is offering FREE infusion therapy to treat certain COVID-19 positive patients with monoclonal antibodies (mAb). All treatments will be provided at no cost to the patient regardless of insurance or immigration status.

What is monoclonal anitbody treatment?
Monoclonal antibodies are manmade versions of the antibodies that our bodies naturally make to fight viruses, such as COVID-19. Clinical trials have shown it reduces COVID-19-related hospitalization and emergency room visits. This treatment has been authorized for emergency use by the FDA to treat mild to moderate COVID-19 positive patients who are at high risk developig severe symptoms. Treatments are given through intravenous (IV) infusion using a small needle through a vein in your arm. The infusion can take 2-3 hours, though times may vary. 

Eligible patients must meet the following criteria for treatment:


1. Positive COVID-19 test
2. Currently experiencing mild to moderate symptoms
3. Less than 10 days since symptoms started (ideally <72 hours)
4. High-risk of developing severe COVID-19 symptoms
5. Not receiving supplemental oxygen for COVID-19 
6. Age 12 and over and weighing 88 lbs with a referral (those 65 and older can self-refer - call today!)
