Palomar Medical Center Named Top 250 Hospital in U.S.

Palomar Medical Center Escondido has been named one of “America’s 250 Best Hospitals” by Healthgrades, putting it in the top 5% nationally based on clinical quality outcomes from 32 conditions and procedures.

In a press release posted on Feb. 12, 2019, Healthgrades says the distinction rewards hospitals that consistently exhibit exceptional, comprehensive quality care and patients treated at hospitals with the distinction are more likely to have successful outcomes without major complications.

Healthgrades also awarded the Palomar Health Orthopedic and Spine Center with “America’s 100 Best Joint Replacement” and “America’s 100 Best Orthopedic Surgery”, placing it in the top 2% nationally.

In addition to Healthgrades, the Women’s Choice Awards recently named Palomar Medical Center Escondido as America’s Best Hospitals in Orthopedics and Stroke Care.
