Palomar Medical Center Poway Honors Nurses and Physician of the Year

ESCONDIDO, Calif. – National Nurses Week is a time to honor professionals that take care of loved ones when they are sick, injured or otherwise afflicted. During the week of May 6-12, staff at Palomar Medical Center Poway selected eight of their peers as unit nurses of the year and the Roz and Len Kolins Nurse of the Year, the highest honor given. Staff also selected the Physician of the Year.
“Our nurses and physicians have set an exceptionally high standard of care,” Palomar Health President and CEO Diane Hansen said. “We employ the best nurses and physicians in the country and I am honored to recognize some of them this week.”
