Julie Laux, MA, CCC-SLP

Julie earned her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, with Spanish-English bilingual certification, from San Diego State University. She has practiced serving adults and children along the care continuum, including inpatient and outpatient settings, acute rehab and subacute units, and skilled nursing facilities since 2005. Her primary areas of interest include bilingual language development (and language recovery in the case of stroke and/or brain injury), dysphagia management, and patient and family counseling. Julie has been with Palomar Health since 2005. She has assisted with early intervention language stimulation and rehabilitation at Healthy Development Services, and she has worked across elementary and high school settings in assisting students with language disorders and differences. She earned a California single-subject teaching credential in English in 2002.
