Kathleen Flores-Dahms, M.D.

 Kathleen Flores-Dahms, M.D

Dr. Kathleen Flores-Dahms joined in 2000 following radiology residency training at the University of California San Francisco and a comprehensive Head to Toe MRI fellowship at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.

Her special interests include musculoskeletal imaging, including arthrography, as well as women’s and cancer imaging. Since her arrival in 2000, she has provided additional expertise in MRI, serving as MRI Director for many years. She has also helped develop the Women’s Imaging program at Palomar Health and implemented Breast MRI and MR guided biopsies.

Dr. Flores-Dahms earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California Irvine and her Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. In medical school, she was awarded the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society as a junior and graduated Cum Laude. In 1995, she completed her Clinical Transitional Internship at Mercy Hospital in San Diego.

Dr. Flores-Dahms has also previously served on her medical group’s Executive Committee and was Radiology Department Chair at Palomar Medical Center Poway. She is currently the Director of Women’s Imaging at the Jean McLaughlin Women’s Center for Health and Healing at Pomerado Outpatient Pavilion.

She enjoys yoga and spending her free time with her husband and three children.


Jennifer Purdy Mayberry, M.D.

Dr. Jennifer Purdy Mayberry M.D. has 14 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, specializing in women’s imaging and breast interventional procedures. She obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors in Chemistry from Louisiana Tech University, followed by earning her medical degree from the University of Arkansas in 1994.

Dr. Mayberry completed 2 years of surgical residency at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts, initiating her desire to pursue women’s health issues. She went on to receive the Ethicon/Society of University Surgeons Research Fellow Scholarship and was a research fellow at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She completed her radiology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in 2003 and became certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2004.

Prior to joining San Diego Imaging Medical Group, Dr. Mayberry was actively involved in a radiology practice in Portland, Oregon, where she served as the director of breast imaging for several years and brought innovative procedures and oversaw the implementation of new technology to the area. Dr. Mayberry is dedicated to providing the best possible patient experience, through compassion, professionalism and wealth of experience.

Dr. Mayberry is a current member of the Radiologic Society of North America, Society of Breast Imaging, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Association of Women Radiologist, and American College of Radiology, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and local and state chapter radiology organizations.
As a participant in many charitable events, Dr. Mayberry had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the Flying Doctors of America Medical Mission Team both in Cambodia and Peru. She actively participates in community lectures and round table discussions promoting women’s imaging, striving to further education and outreach.

On a more personal note, she is proud mother of two children, and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and relaxing in the Southern California sunshine.
