Palomar Health Community Action Councils
While most people rely upon Palomar Health as the provider of care in emergencies, the efforts of Community Outreach are geared toward reaching the public before they need hospitalization. All of this, of course, is in fulfillment of our mission:
To heal, comfort and promote health in the communities we serve.
Think of Palomar Health’s Community Outreach as the extended heart of our institution, reaching out to serve more than four hundred thousand individuals and groups within our 800 square mile area of service in inland north San Diego County.
With populations in Escondido, Poway, Pala, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos, San Marcos, Pala, Palomar Mountain, Valley Center, Ramona, Santa Ysabel and Julian, the health and medical needs of our vast community are many and varied. Consequently, we provide a wide-range of services and programs, designed to reach a culturally diverse and ever-growing citizenry.
