Lobby Desk

Duties: Lobby Desk
  1. Greet patients, visitors and vendors and assist with general questions, room information or registration.
  2. Escort individuals to their destination as required, if the ambassador is not available.
  3. Help with a myriad of tasks that will leave patients and visitors with a positive feeling about Palomar Health.
  4. Call departments, security or nursing stations as needed.
  5. Phone answering
 
Requirements:
  1. Be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
  2. Possess the maturity, responsibility and interpersonal skills to interact cordially with patients, staff, volunteers and other customers
  3. Basic computer skills to use the Palomar Health computer system
  4. Must be flexible, have stamina and possess problem solving skills for their assigned area of responsibility
  5. Maintain patient confidentially at all times
  6. Be able to handle stressful situations
